I've not actually had a repair done, but I went to Advance Auto to get a replacement bulb for a rear turn signal, and was informed that they are not allowed to switch out bulbs. TCP was right across the street, so I ran over there to see if they would change it out for me. The mechanic switched it out for me at no charge (I was willing to pay for his time). I really appreciated the courtesy - wish I had gotten his name. I drive for Uber and Lyft so my car is in for routine service quite a bit. I will definitely give them a try next time I'm in need of repairs!
